  2. Oh dear. Paul has learned to type. Sort of.

  3. Paul? Or R. Trent? Whoever it is is a lowlife with little imagination.

  4. It's most likely Dick Cheney.

  5. Hey look, I dislike Dick Cheney a lot. Think he's a creep, but mreasquan, just to say 6:54 is likely Cheney is a bit lame. My bet is that it is probably Salzman again who made the post because R.Trent although generally Salzman aka R. Trent wouldn't be up that early unless he had an all night bender, Paul is too lazy to type and couldn't care less about anyone other than himself and Salzman has clearly been on many other posts using the same line.

Can someone escort that creep (salzman) back to southern california?

BTW keep it up rose - clearly you have rattled Salzman and his sleazoids!

  6. See it must be Cheney.Unless Rose is speaking of Richard Cheney.

  7. It is interesting watching the orchestrated Cheney talking points. Notice how it started, mresquan? And then the feed to the New York Times, all very carefully worded?

And the tribal guy who said, look, let's keep politics out of this - totally ignored. Why?

What the hell is the climate going to be like when Bush leaves office? You think everything is gonna be all nice and respectful? There are always going to be good and bad politicians - but we do need them focused, not on attacking each other, and discrediting each other, and destroying and bringing down the opposing party as if they are some invading force and not their own fellow citizens and neighbors. Haven't you had enough? We need people working on solving problems, not attacking for partisan reasons.

And, you know what - maybe we can't do much about what happens nationally. But we sure can do something about the corruption that is happening right here, right under your nose, in your own town, in the DA's office.

Bashing on Bush and Cheney is a cop out.

  8. Ouch,Look at where a little sarcasm got me.

  9. OHHHHH. you were being sarcastic! Ok. Oh well, talking to others, not just you, Mark. So many people say, "Oh yeah, Paul is Bad, but you you know, Bush LIED." I'm just tired of it. Like it has anything to do with what is going on here. And here you can make a difference. This is something you can do something about, where your voice can make a difference. Like this topic, helping Lisa LaDeRoute either find justice - or at least get her sister's remains back. How many cases keep the remains in a box, most victims get buried long before the case goes to trial, This has been 27 years.

  10. Sorry Mresquan - sarcasm sometimes is hard to pick up written. I get it now.

  11. Any Dick'll do, right, Mresquan?
    Dick Nixon?
    Dick Clark?
    Dick Cavett?
    Dick Butkus?
    Andy Dick?
    Moby Dick?
    Private Dick?
    Dick Head.

  12. It's really tiresome when a string goes off on interpersonal issues. Why don't bloggers set up a link, call it, say, "outside" as in outside the string, and when you want to get ugly with each other, take it outside.

  13. It's the nature of a blog 8:20, a free-wheeling discussion, not unlike a coffee shop discussion where things go off on tangents and all points of view are aired. It's a good thing.

  14. If ping-ponging tiresome invectives is what passes for conversation these days, one weeps.

  17. Heavens, 1:56! Shudder, if you must, but save the weeping for matters of true consequence.

  18. If the inability to distinguish between infantile insults and
and adult conversation, and all that such an inability implies, is of no "true" consequence to you, Ms. Shelley, what is?

  19. Impeach Gallegos.

  20. I haven't seen anyone here who has the inability (or disability, as you imply) to distinquish between "infantile insults & adult conversation", Anonymous 7:57. Calling Rose filthy names is certainly inappropriate & not appreciated by anyone. Banter between bloggers, however, is harmless & can even provide a little comic relief (if only for the bloggers engaged) from the serious topics of corrupt politicians, inept public servants & now murder which are usually discussed here. That is the way of give-and-take conversation but you don't have to read it or participate in it. Take your coffee cup & move to another table!
This site is not about you & me so, in answer to your question, I refer you to your own post of 8/2/07 at 8:20 a.m.

    True: adj.: Real; genuine...
