So very Presidential

Change you can believe in.
Barack Obama's new website USAService.org

This is what you voted for.
And in case there was any doubt that Obama was for this -

  2. Look, it is undoubtedly some of his DailyKos/Huff Po kids who set this up, they undoubtedly think it is very funny, because they have no respect for the office.

Obama, however, should immediately condemn this disrespectful action, and command them to pull it down.

Let them have their party, but NOT as an act of his.

    It's juvenile and disgusting.

We're waiting. (Sound of crickets chirping.)

  4. Rose;
Got to hand it to you on this one, it's funny. Waaaaay better than the "Supervisors/bloody coup thing. At first I though you were serious.

  5. I don't see anything funny about it, though, brian.

  7. Oh give me a break.

That would be like Bush trying to defend some of the crazy crap that is said here and on other right wing blogs.

It would be beneath them to even acknowledge stuff like this.

  8. I would agree, Jason, IF it is NOT his website, or affiliated with him, then anything they want to do is fair game. IF is IS affiliated with him, he should condemn it. Because this is juvenile and beneath the Office of The President Elect.

  9. Look Rose, I never voted for Bush. However, I do agree with you on this one. It is low, petty and definitely juvenile. Absolutely something that no past, present or soon to be president ought to be connected with.

  10. A friend turned me on to your blog a few weeks ago. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Dealing with the hopium smokers down here in Sohum is a daunting task. Keep up all your good work.

  11. What exactly is supposed to be wrong with the video? Are you opposed to people doing community service?

  12. Nothing wrong with the video - but it shows that he IS affiliated with that site - and they are asking people to 'serve' and celebrate by throwing shoes at a poster of Bush - and get a free drink for doing so. That is juvenile and not worthy of a President to be. And it is a stark contrast to the graciousness with which the Bush's are treating the Obama's.

And there's nothing wrong with community service btw - AS LONG AS IT IS VOLUNTARY. It is looking more and more like Obama will have his youth corps. USAService.org is a start.

  13. You're grasping at ideological straws. The video is fine as is. The site had a juvenile link that's probably been removed by somebody responsible. I seriously doubt the Obama's took notice of the prankster.

  14. community service?? Really? This a very successful ploy to keep the Obama base active. The Obama campaign is very concerned about the base moving on to something or someone else.In order to indoctrinate the masses they must be fed propaganda on a continuous basis.

  15. Well named, lunatic fringe. Hey, it's all a big conspiracy and we put a radio transmitter in your teeth. Now you will be our slave FOREVER!!!!!

  16. I don't know, Obama's rhetoric is for a civilian security force, and the it's Dems are pushing for a return of the draft - it'll be interesting to see Dave Meserve and Shane Brinton's response to that when it comes - let's see, fealty to the One or stand up for what we've been saying? Fealty to the One? Or stand up for what we've been saying? After all, the draft makes it FAIR, and stops all the rich white boys from getting out of the service, right? So, the stage is set.

  17. No,no it's the kool-aid I'm worried about.That's so much easier than a radio transmitter....geez, you should know that!

  20. If he or his people are aware of it, they'll probably have it revised or removed. It is beneath the office to be affiliated with it.

  21. This is not what I voted for, cause I didn't vote for him.
