What would YOU call it?

HInt - First Google listing...Pleasure Center Arcata, CA - Katelin H. says "Fondly referred to as the "PC", Arcata's only sex shop is nestled just off the Humboldt State campus.

  3. Haha, don't jump to conclusions. I did the logo for the guy a long, long time ago. The guys in the art department howled with laughter. The owner died from some sort of asphyxiation, as I recall, and his wife, or ex, lived in Australia or somewhere.

From what I remember, he died in the back room at the Eureka store, which was close to someone's Eureka office. He used to hire lots of gay females to work there because he had quite the fetish for them as well.

Yeah, it was a party and one of the best ways to die I guess.

  7. Suspicions were aroused because he kept going in and out, in and out.

  8. LOL - Even funnier, when he died, it took his wife a long time to come over to settle the estate. And apparently, that meant the County had to keep the estate together... which supposedly meant, they had to run the Pleasure Center.

I never heard if they actually did, or how they did it if they did, nor how the whole thing was resolved, but it's still in business.

The second review in that yelp! link isn't too complimentary though.

  10. They used to have a Pleasure Center in Old Town Eureka. Now, as far as I know, there's just the Good Relations place.
