I got back just in time to catch the last five minutes - anybody hear the rest?
ReplyDeletenot a thing, when to the harbor district.
ReplyDeleteAhh, that had to be interesting!
ReplyDeleteWe've achieved a perpetual loop of irrelevance – yammering on the radio about online jabberers.
ReplyDeleteAnd now I'm whingeing about yammering about jabberers.
Now someone must do a podcast about the post-yammering whingeing. And that in turn must be analyzed, perhaps in print, and we can repeat the cycle.
LOL, Kevin! And once it is in print, the yammering starts again in earnest, because we must analyze every word and nuance, yannow?
ReplyDelete:) NO, make that criticize, not analyze, because we must never be complimentary to our print muses.
ReplyDeleteDoess Joel have a real job? A real occupation ? Just curious.
ReplyDeleteHe has Carson Park Design:

Joel's a talented guy, and I like him. He suffers from Bush derangement syndrome, but otherwise he is ok. :)
ReplyDeleteCalling the dis-ease with Bush that over 80% of the people in this country share derangement shows clearly who is the deranged one and it isn't CPR.
ReplyDeleteHeh. Last poll I heard Bush was at about 26% which is amazing given the daily assassination. CONGRESS on the other hand is somewhere between 9% and 12%, below even HMOs.
ReplyDeleteAt any rate, Bush will be gone soon and I always wondered what would happen then. Clearly, the rhetoric is to paint the monster face on a new person and keep right on with the attacks. Looks like McCain is the nominee.
Gosh, I missed the show - Joel is a very funny guy. He and his wife, Lynn, are great folks and I like them both very much!
ReplyDeleteThe polls show the majority of people want more Democrats in Congress. It is the GOP congressional members who bring the approval rating to below Bush. When polled just on Democrats, they beat Bush. You probably knew that but just forgot to mention it.
ReplyDeleteBush's numbers improved when he started talking about a timeline for withdrawal and negotiating with Iran rather than threatening them with bombs. What Obama has been saying and Bush / McCain have been ridiculing for a long time. Coincidence? HA!
