Depending on your viewpoint

This could be a good thing, I suppose, if you don't think much of this particular Gallegos hire. BUT. This office cannot afford to lose any more people right now. Rumors abound. Expectations of firings, and plans to walk. This just confirms the rumors.

Wishing DDA Christa McKimmy the best; she is leaving the DA's office - John Chiv/Words Worth
She gave notice so this was her choice. Looks like recruiting attorneys is going to be one of the new DA's top priorities.
What's it going to be? Cleaning house? Or retention and improvement? Are current employees acting out of unfounded fear (amply spread by Gallegos in all the past elections)? I'd encourage you to STAY, you should find your work conditions improving astronomically.

  1. This is kind of old news and has been in the works for awhile. There is more excitement to be had and more money to be made in, say, Sacramento.

  2. What I was astounded by over the last few months was how little DDAs are paid in Humboldt. Not even counting all the free personal time they put in prepping for trial, they only make about $35 per hour to start plus benefits. And even experienced DDAs only make about $50. I mean, a plumber makes more. And we expect to get top talent to work here and protect us from criminals? At these salaries? I know we need more prosecutors, but until we pay better, why should anyone stay?

  3. Because the only thing worse than Paul, is Fleming

    ReplyDelete
  4. There's no reason to say that, 8:39. None.

    ReplyDelete
  5. Jim, yes, low pay, without comp time for extra hours put in, and no civil service protection, one of Paul's broken campaign promises.

    ReplyDelete
  6. Rose, good call on 839. Let the haters hate, Maggie will abide.

    ReplyDelete
  7. Fleming said cleaning house starting with Firpo. No doubt most will be getting out while the getting is good. They sure don't want to work for Fleming.

    ReplyDelete
  8. Clearly Rose has never had to work with Maggie

  9. Clearly 1009 has never had to work with Maggie.

  10. Rumor is that they will all be gone before Maggie has a chance to fire them. As Maggie put it many times, they are all unprofessional and unethical.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Don't forget she'll review all their plea deals because they aren't competent

    ReplyDelete
  12. Flashback to 2002, when there was a 9 month lame duck period because the primary was in March. There was some theory that Gallegos would walk in on his first day and be the only attorney there, as I recall. Farmer didn't let Gallegos into the office for months. Let's hope Gallegos handles this transition better.

  13. I've heard Paul has reached out to Maggie a few times and she doesn't return his calls. She responded once for one brief meeting and then she disappeared again.

  14. 1116. See, now, even with the election over, liars gotta lie. Fleming never said that. Dollison never said that. Klein never said that. Show us one single quote, find us one section of an interview on audio.

And as for them all being gone, well, as the history of the office shows (Rose had a running list of the departures up for a while, its around somewhere) as Mr. Ferguson suggests and as Ms. McKimmy just demonstrated, it's nothing new for Humboldt DDA's to have resumes out. If they all get better paying jobs, good for them. However in this job market that will be tough, and its not as if coming from PVG's office has developed anyone's trial skills.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Rose will try to prop up Maggie no matter what disaster she brings to the office. The sad part is no one will be "watching" when Fleming finishes off the destruction of that office. Corruption. You ain't seen nothing yet! Just look at the campaign. Signgate, breaking the law on courthouse steps, FPPC violations, smear campaign. Someone thought Maggie would suddenly become ethical and mature because she was elected?

    ReplyDelete
  16. 1158 what a sad pathetic hater you are. Ms. Fleming has no need of Rose to prop her up, and you can rant all you want, the only thing that will matter will be the record, and the record will be made without reliance on such as you.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Rant? Her record is already clear. Christa is the first to dodge Maggie. Watch how many more jump ship.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Her "record" is why many of us didn't vote for her. For those that did- you get what you ask for

    ReplyDelete
  19. 11:55 uh, every single debate. Maybe you weren't around for the campaign. I know one of the DDAs leaving for that reason alone.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Fair is fair. Fleming detailed a bunch of changes she wants to make in the office that the DDAs don't like. She won the election and has the rigt to implement them, and they have the right to get other jobs to avoid them. If expect Max to stay and the others supporting Firpo to go. I predict Firpo goes into practice with a couple of them. Kelly Neel I'm betting

    ReplyDelete
  21. "only $35 an hour".. Let's see that's over $5000 per month, 60,000 a year. Sparky gets $1100 every three months and I get about 866 per month. With $5000 I can get a patent search going on two new wearable tech ideas. With another $5000 I can start a Paxcalibur company making Paxcalibur items for the Tent of Nations in Palestine whose 1500 orchard olive and fruit trees were recently ripped up by Israeli Defense Force. With $1000 I can get to South Dakota to help my Lifeline Lottery project partner there for the Oglala tribe. With another $5000 I could publish my two books that I can never afford to publish. It amazes me how much money goes nowhere in our community while so many poor people could plug into the system if only someone had the brains to share the wealth to promote community development.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Well Steven, we are not paying you to put criminals behind bars, so what you would do with the money is apples to oranges. There is not a private attorney up here that charges less than three to four times what the DDAs make. We get what we pay for. In some ways, I'm surprised they convict anyone.

    ReplyDelete
  23. You don't get the point, Jim. From the point of view of many of us at the poverty end of the economy there is a gigantic amount of money wasted by people's with fairly enormous salaries in comparison. How many creative minds are being stifled because there's no money in our society for creative talent unless it makes Money. In the Renaissance times creative people had patrons of the arts and sciences but in America, unless you prove your art or creative work can make money, nobody cares what you do to help the community. I've put in over 19 years on the Heartlands Project and so has Sparky and neither of us has been paid a dime for our years of work. If we are successful thousands of people will benefit from our work. Lives will be saved. Yet I put out the word for financial assistance and meet the Jim Fergeson "we don't care" response, we are only interested in criminal activity and politics here, here's a quarter, go call somebody who cares..

  24. There are haters on both sides and allegations flying all over the comment section.

Who knows why Ms. McKimmy left?

The only person whose actions and words matter are Ms. Fleming's.

This exit cannot be blamed on Paul, he is on his way out. The Deputy DA's should be paid more.

The investigators have protection, why are the Deputy District Attorneys at-will?

    ReplyDelete
  25. Why is someone who thinks Maggie is incompetent a hater? I like her. I just don't think she is a competent manager or an honest person. Neither do many others.

    ReplyDelete
  26. I'm not propping anyone up. Jus' saying' give her a chance.

Whoever had gotten elected would likely be taking this time to meet with each of the DDA's individually, giving and getting a feel for how things should proceed, assessing needs of the office, strengths of the people on the team, holes that need to be filled and so on.

And I'd be exercising a little understanding if I were a DDA - so Maggie shut herself off? Ever think she was miserable there, working for such an incompetent administrator, seeing things degrade, knowing she had no ability to fix it under the circumstances? And seeing the voters had so little respect for the office and so little caring about what was going on?

Unlike most of you, she knows what it is like to work in a functional DAs Office - because whether you like Terry Farmer or hate him, he had assembled a dynamite team, and instituted some innovative programs, some of which became models for the state.

You can HOPE that this is what the future holds for you. For the entire County.

    ReplyDelete
  27. HOPE springs eternal. Rose, some evidence there are better days ahead? "I hate Paul" is not evidence. So far the evidence is in her job at County Counsel and campaigning. The future doesn't look bright.

The excuse for her chicanery is that Paul made her miserable? Hmmm.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Has she reached out to any one but her supporters? Has there been an olive branch extended or morale building? No.

What about all those people who stayed and did their job under Paul? They deserve thanks.

Saying she couldn't handle it shows a weakling. Not a leader.

    ReplyDelete
  29. "Ever think she was miserable there, working for such an incompetent administrator, seeing things degrade, knowing she had no ability to fix it under the circumstances"

This is apparently a reason for her to now be incompetent?

Rumor is that Firpo, Pizzo and Neel are opening a practice. Knowing all the DDA's except Max supported Firpo, Maggie should have called them all the first day she was elected and told them "no hard feelings" and built bridges. I think that ship has sailed now.

Rose can't see the forest for the trees. She is so fixated on Paul hating. He's gone Rose. Widen your lens.

    1. If this rumor is true, good for them. Maggie could not handle the scrutiny during a campaign, how is she going to handle the job of District Attorney.

It involves dealing with people. It involves being criticized. It involves people being able to speak freely.

  30. I would like my vote back. We're off to a hell of a start. While she's telling my friends how conservative she is, check out Eric Kirks blog where she is telling him she's a liberal democrat and doesn't understand why they paint her conservative. I could care less which one she is. She's a liar. She lied to me and she lied to others.

    ReplyDelete
  31. 6:50 Were you under a rock during the campaign or did you just swallow the crap the Losey was feeding you? If you've watched this blog or any other there was ample evidence of Maggie's deceitfulness. If you voted for her, don't pretend like it is some new revelation. Admit you are a sucker.

    ReplyDelete
  32. All the people that adamantly denied they would not be paid for their support of Maggie by receiving a County job should remember their denials were noted in a public forum.

Bullying is a what Fleming supporters excel at. Here is a clue. You are not in charge of anything. Go bark your commands elsewhere.

    ReplyDelete
  36. These Fleming supporters are no different than the Paul apologists. No matter what she does or how many laws she breaks, they will be there to prop her up. That's how we ended up with 12 years of Paul. People like Rose and Losey will defend Fleming no matter how many lies she tells or how screwed up things get. They will still be blaming Paul next election because they can't possibly acknowledge their own candidates failures.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Agreed. Anyone who still sees Maggie as the savior and has no reservations about her is never going give up on their little fantasy. Maggie will have run things completely into the ground and they'll still find excuses for her.

    ReplyDelete
  38. I don't think thats true for everyone. I saw lots of people switch from Maggie to Elan when the truth started coming out. One I know switched to Dollison. Rose may be faithful to Fleming, but a lot of voters are already having remorse.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Lots of people switched. That's hilarious. You do recall Maggie got over 60 percent of the vote, Elan less than 30. So, Elan got stomped better than 2 to 1.

As for lots of voters having remorse . . . rubbish. But do carry on, mutual masterblogtion is as close as you all are going to get to a support group.

This was not a Maggie victory and Elan loss. It was an anti Paul and Salzman vote.

The lies told by Maggie are being revealed. And all you have is 60 per cent. Cannot counter with facts, can ya?

  41. Four out of 10 people in the last poll phot Maggie was not up to the job. They are the minority. It doesn't mean they are wrong. I count myself among the minority that has been proven more and more right every day.

For the six out of 10, I wonder how many illegal acts or unethical moves will take them off of their position. We know the number is greater than five.

    10,20, 30?

    ReplyDelete
  42. 5 in 3 months equals around 80 for the term. That should stack up pretty well against her predecessor. Maybe give her the lead.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Anon at 8:22. I voted for Maggie but attitudes like yours give Maggie a bad name. Same with others I've seen here. Firpo ran a clean campaign and did impressively considering no one on earth knew who she was until February. She would have been a force to deal with after 5 more months

    ReplyDelete
  44. Attitudes give only the attitude holder a bad name. Firpo's campaign was sleazy, based on lies, misrepresented her experience, lied about her law background, lied about her won loss record, and generally revealed her as the perfect heir to Paul Gallegos. She may well have been a force to be reckoned with, but then, so was Paul.

    1. Thank you 9:10 for revealing Maggie's campaign strategy and proving my point.

Maggie earned nothing. She got the anti Paul vote. If she had earned the 60 per cent, you could call it a victory.

      Delete
  45. Maggie is mediocre. Let her have the government job. She would not last a day in the real world.

Elan can be successful in the private world and public sector.

I voted for Elan and wish her the best.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Irony. Fleming now owns the mess and Élan is free to make big bucks doing whatever she wants. People know who she is now. Best advertising campaign

    ReplyDelete
  47. Elan is free to make big bucks. Sure. Did any of you notice that her campaign kind of forgot to include endorsements from the lawyer she claimed to have worked for, or from the businesses she "managed" so "brilliantly"? No former co-workers, no former supervisors, no nothing. Here's a tip, genius, don't bring up your past if you don't have any one from your past on your side. Voters noticed. Lawyers do too. No one is going to hire her if the only reference she has is from PVG. She can hang out a shingle and compete with Bragg, Clanton, Daskal, Robinson, etc etc. Good luck. In the private sector, people look for results. Submitted.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Your use of PVG is revealing. There were endorsements from Elan co-workers. You need to learn to read and check facts.

I would not be bragging about former supervisors. Bon Bon lost to Virginia Bass. I would not brag about former co-workers. They left for a reason.

Bill Bragg who lost to Jackson and HumCPR? Clanton who is the biggest sleaze. Robinson who defended child molesting Randall Miles Cook. Lawyers like Daskal making money off growers and DUIs does not make them successful, it is easy money. Talent is not required.

Firpo has worked in the private sector. She had major local successful businesses like Green Diamond and Streamguys support her.

Don't act like one election makes you an expert on what success is or what it takes to survive politics.

There are too many big egos on that 2nd floor. Most wouldn't make it outside Humboldt County.

    ReplyDelete
  49. 10:18. Your a little delirious. Many lawyers on her list and testimonials from Elan's management work. Paul was not on her list. He endorsed no one.

    ReplyDelete
  50. 1031, you are a bit dense, aren't you. Supervisors from Applied Magnetics, or the other "high tech" businesses she "managed" are what's missing. Context, context, context. As for running down Bragg, Robinson & Clanton-- just who do you think criminals call for when arrested? And who do you think Firpo's clients will be? Bill Gates?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. 7:42 a little defensive, aren't you?. Did I strike a nerve? The truth hurt? Your insecurity is showing.

The monopoly certain lawyers have has nothing to do with skill. People call a lot of other lawyers too. The difference is good lawyers can handle competition.

Good lawyers do not leap on blogs or bad mouth others. Get out of Humboldt. Unlike you, some of us have been successful nationally and internationally.

I don't see any one jumping to back you for office. Maggie got elected, let us see some leadership and management.

Think she is going to stand up to Robinson who donated to her campaign?

  51. According to the Mad River Union, cuts proposed to the DA's budget include extra help that funds Max Cardoza and a paralegal position.

Who did Max support? Maggie? Will he be part of her cleaning house?

If you believe that, I got a bridge to sell you.

    ReplyDelete
  52. Since Mr. Cardoza is a superb attorney, whose work is universally praised by the courts and who has been invaluable in the Early Resolution process it is to be hoped that his services can be retained.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Yes Max is superb because he supported Maggie. Just like you.

Fire all the lazy lifelong government employees who sit around taking breaks and pushing papers.

At one time, maybe, Max was good. When Max can make it in the private sector, he will be considered a success.

Lifelong government employees have no clue about management or budget. They only know how to take their appointed vacations, clock in and collect a paycheck.

    ReplyDelete
  54. 7:54 anon pm. And private sector bosses have no clue about living wages, so their employees are forced to depend on public sector safety net services to make ends meet. That's what 40 years of Reagan enspired union busting will get you a bloated tenth of one percent and the rest of us.

But what you say sounds right, so it must be right. Especially if you say it over and over.

    ReplyDelete
  55. liberal jon, you are the last person that should be talking about saying things over and over.

That job you have with DHHS is paid for by private employers. You already made a jackass of yourself at the Tuluwat Examiner talking about stuff you have no clue about.

You like to talk and stalk conservatives on blogs. Guess what Jon. The job you have is paid for by taxpayer money. Private business.

If your proggie friends were not suing every local business that wants to create jobs, we would have living wages.

Oh btw, Chris lost. Sharon lost. And you had nothing to do with Maggie's win.

Conservative absentee voters carried this election. 2010 elections were not a win on your talking points.

All you do is blab Jon. Never made a difference except blogging. You don't dictate this blog, you don't dictate anything. You don't have a clue about local politics or business.

Ask your HCDCC handlers to write your script because then Jon you would still be wrong but you would make sense.

    ReplyDelete
  58. 9:38 you enjoy your fantasy. Maggie may have gotten elected by Losey and Max tactics.

As an elected official and DA, she will be held accountable. If she is serious about that office, then we will see if she does what is best for the People and that office, not all you cronies that elected her.

She did not win on her merits, she won by trashing her opponents. That shows your character and hers.

She has shown zero leadership and management skills so far.

Her four years will be a good opportunity for People to see the real her and all the slime that supported her and ran the trashiest election in Humboldt history.

  59. It's pretty obious that 80% of the posts on this thread are from one person, or one dog?!

Maggie Fleming is an outstanding prosecutor and a great person. Despite all the negative comments by ??? whomever, I'm sure the current DA employees will enjoy working for/with Maggie. If Firpo can set the election aside I'm sure she will enjoy working for/with Maggie.

    ReplyDelete
  60. Back to the DA controversy in a moment. First please allow me to agree (in the context of kettles, pots and blackness)...

    a) anonymous 9:37 - yes, who am I? and
    b) anon 9:16 - yes, I'm the stalker not you "That job you have with DHHS is paid for by private employers. You already made a jackass of yourself at the Tuluwat Examiner"

Anon 9:16, to anon 9:37's point I'll wait for this thread to slow down to address you point about who pays my salary as it would involve getting on the "Soapbox of Truth" (TM).

Back to the DA's race then. I still have more questions than answers as so many here obviously are also employed by the county or work closely with them in our court system.

If Elan can do so much better in the private sector and the push (I think largely from Elan supporters who seem to be more libertarian than conservative) seems to be to lower DDA and law enforcement salaries even further, is justice really being served? Let's leave liberals out of the equation totally for a second here with all their idealism, government and utopia talk. Let's talk conservative principles.

On the one hand we want to put criminals behind bars - all sorts, violent, welfare fraud, drug (non-weed for now so this is a clean question). This, I think, conservatives would agree on. However, there is the other more libertarian/conservative strand that wants to run government like a business - and when they say a business - they mean by limiting salaries - not, btw, comparing salaries to their peers in private practice where apparently those disenchanted with DA office work can work and make tons more money.

So my question is this - and it's a sincere one despite the loaded set up. Is justice being served? If the earning potential is so different from public to private sector in those involved in our courtrooms, is this contributing to our inability to do the work a county prosecutor and her staff needs to do?

Does this not go to the heart of what seems to me to be an existential crisis right now in the WatchPaul-o-sphere between the former (and now provably few) Elan supporters and those conservatives in law enforcement and elsewhere in the Courthouse who supported (or didn't oppose) DA elect Flemming?

    ReplyDelete
  61. Jon. One clarification. Elan was seeking to raise DDA salaries. They are abysmal. She also wanted to increase staff numbers. Word around the courthouse is that Maggie saying she'd maintain the status quo is the reason they are looking for an exit.

As for DA Inv unit, Élan said they shouldn't have assault rifles. Not at all popular. Arnie said the same thing.

    ReplyDelete
  62. So reading trough the comments on this thread, this crazy idea popped into my mind: Maybe I should ignore all this spin and wait and see how Fleming does in her job? Yeah, like I said, I know it's crazy! But ya know what, I think I'm gonna give it a try. Later, y'all.

  65. gee, 1170pm you just labelled 60 percent of the voters name callers and mud slingers. But you should be used to that, since, oh let me say it again, you got so thoroughly shouted down. 60 percent in a four person raise. That must really sting.

  66. It's like the same mean, nasty, hate filled moron keeps posting all the BS about fleming.

This one posting AH is trying to cause Fleming grief. Absolutely pathetic.

    ReplyDelete
  67. 7:38 and 8:55 if you are so confident that you are in the right, you would not need to respond and name call.

60 per cent in a low turnout and a one time win means nothing. Results matter. Being re-elected matters. The next four years will tell.

40 percent do not share your opinion. 62 per cent stayed home because they were disgusted with your tactics.

I know your fragile egos need to believe desperately in this so called win. Gloat all you want, comment all you want. You need to stroke your egos.

    ReplyDelete
  68. 912, let's be clear. First, you have no idea why anyone stayed home. Second, I don't need to stroke my ego, it's fine just the way it is. Third, 60 percent means--Maggie won, you dullard. Saying it "means nothing" is just palpably thick.

One more thing. Here's what really means nothing--

    You.

  69. Since I can't post comments on the Legal Insurrection Rightright propaganda blog hosted here, I will post them here because this blog is promoting Zionist fascism to Americans. Zionism equals racism, Rose. Please stop hosting Zionist racist blogs and the proof of Zionist racism is seen in the Israeli settlement building "for Jews Only", this type of blatant racist development would be instantly outlawed in any industrial Western nation Except Israel. Even our president, Nobel Prize winners have all condemned Israeli racist settlement building and your hosting a blog promoting it, a crime against U.N. Resolutions and certainly a crime against humanity.

    ReplyDelete
  70. Stephen, I believe the blogger is Jewish - and he has a right to his opinion, maybe more than most.

And, no, I won't stop linking Legal Insurrection, it's one of the best legal blogs in the country. And, on the topic which you and I vehemently disagree, I have said before, I am 100% committed to the support and protect of the people of Israel. As should we all.

The simple test is this - what would happen if Israel laid down their arms today? And what would happen if the Palestinians did? IN one case there would be everlasting peace, and in the other there would be slaughter, bombings and the killing of innocents in pizza parlors. You know it, and we all know it as we have watched it over and over and over and over and over again in my lifetime. Every failed peace effort ends up with Israel conceding, and the other side then refusing to accept that which they have demanded. They will not rest until they have killed everyone.

Now admittedly, it's not all people, but it is the leadership of that entity, and you and I both know how little effect the good regular people can have in the face of corrupt and murderous government.

The Jewish people have faced this effort to slaughter and defame them for too long. And - I am extremely concerned by the rise in anti-Semitism rising mostly from 'the left.'

We need voices like Prof. Jacobsen, speaking out against it.

And yes, we need dissent, and counter argument, so that things stay in balance. Vigilance.

But no. I will not remove his links, and I do not support the use of the term 'Zionism' which always leads to intolerance.

I know your heart is in the right place, caring about downtrodden - and that you do not support murderous regimes - others don't, but I do know this. I get what you are trying to say. Unfortunately, until those good people YOU know stand up and STOP the bombings and kidnappings, and teaching of children to hate and pledge to kill the 'Zionists' (YOU), there can be no quarter given.

So let me try to address the issues as I always try to head on. Please, please let me know what I'm deflecting, accusing and denying, and if I do, what it is I'm missing.

I think the most substantial comment made by one of the anons was this...

"That job you have with DHHS is paid for by private employers."

So it depends what you mean by "private employers"? Are these the "job creators". By "employers" do you mean the 1%? That's a standard right wing talking point.

Here is our august Republicans on the topic

    http://web.humboldtgop.org/2014/04/2014-tax-day-chart-who-pays-most.html

Take a look at that. Let it soak in. The point the Republicans want you to get is - damn - the darn 1% are paying way more than their share. The 1% pay 37% of all federal taxes!

(let's forget that this deceptive chart only mentions income tax which ignores the regressive payroll taxes)

Think about what else this chart is saying. The system is so rigged that the top 25% makes 61% of the income in the country. Let that sink in. That means the lower 75% makes 34% of the income. And this is already on top of a mind-numbing imbalance of wealth.

So to your point. a) no, it is not only the "private employers" that pay my salary. It's all of us, including the government workers btw as their salary is taxed an overall rate not to different than those making much more. (http://www.businessinsider.com/no-the-rich-do-not-pay-all-the-taxes-2013-12)
and b) the real story is not how much the "private employers" are paying in taxes, but what they are making to begin with. The biggest story of all, which you will never hear the Republicans or Rush or Rose (the 3 R's of politics? (TM)) talk about is the massive inequality of ...wealth...

  74. Jon, you're good to go - off topic as much as you like.

The only fair thing is for everyone to pay the same percentage, Jon.... so that EVERYONE has skin in the game.

Your view ism I want it, you have it, give it to me. Why?

  75. Israel was set up by breaking the U.N.'s own Charter protecting the right to self-determination by indigenous populations. No Palestians were ever consulted or voted on the Partition of their country. No Arab nations voted for this Partition. It was a Crime to begin with, Rose. You need to understand that from Palestinians and Arab nations p.o.v. Israel has NO, repeat NO, legitimate right to exist as a European Jewish Colony placed in Palestine to serve Europe and American oil interests in the Middle East. Without oil there would be no Israel today. Without Big Brother America there would be no Israel today. You may support Jewish racist fascist aggression but nobody who cares about human rights and democracy will support you, only Zionists will who are law-breakers, Rose, breaking the U.N. Resolutions against settlement building contiually. Law-breakers, do you understand that, you who follow law-breakers so adamantly here yet in Palestine you support law breakers, and killers of those who resist Zionist law breakers.

You use Zionist progaganda and paranoia to justify support of Zionist fascist aggressors and that is quite wrong to do. "Every failed peace effort ends up with Israel conceding, and the other side then refusing to accept that which they have demanded." Rose, even our President has stated Israel violates peace agreements continually by stepping up settlement building whenever peace talks loom on the horizon. You are in great need to look at a a map of Palestine from 1947 to now to see what your evil Zionist greedos are actually doing to destroy Palestine and destroy the U.N. mandate which you ignore as do Israelis wanting to steal Palestine for European Jews primarily. And we are not even real Jews but Khazarian Jewish converts claiming to be "Semites" when most anyone can see most Israelis look just like the rest of the European nations they came from and not Semitic at all.

Every failed peace effort ends up with Israel conceding, and the other side then refusing to accept that which they have demanded. They will not rest until they have killed everyone. Then you add this, Rose, this little piece of paranoid crap:

"They will not rest until they have killed everyone."

Do you know any Palestinians, Rose? I do, there are quite a few in Humboldt County now and you really need to talk to them to see that the vast majority of Palestinians are human beings like you and your family and not your fantasy of Boko Harum or Isis gangsters who are Justifying their extremism by pointing to Israel and Israel's support, America.

You get that European colony out of Palestine and the whole Middle East will calm down because Israel is what has caused all the Middle East warfare since 1947. These are not the 1800's, Rose, and European colonial takeovers of non-European lands is at an end.

Zionism is a completely racist ideology and has no place in any democracy or religion of God.

  76. Judaism is not a religion of God. It is man-made from the beginning and now, no rabbis know the historical origin of Judaism's main doctrine, the Torah as this too was so thoroughly politicized by Jewish priesthoods that now they've completely lost the original Torah theology that came from ancient Egypt as did so much else in Judaism tenets. I teach Celestial Torah Christianity which follows the original heavenly Torah theology that is the world's oldest religion with religious symbolic iconography going back 35,000 years. Priests of Judah pulled off one of the world's biggest FRAUDS by convincing most everyone but Near Eastern scholars that Judaism stands on its own merits when it is completely based on earlier pagan religious ideas that were taken without accrediting ancient religious sources and reworked to be presented as "Judaism". E.g. the Torah which is derived from Egyptian Taurowet theology. As is the Tarot. I'm tired of Jewish frauds being perpetrated on Gentiles and Israel is unacceptable as the last phase of racist European religious colonization where Europeans takeover a country by killing all the indigenous people who resist. No Mas! Not on this Jewish Christian's watch.

  77. The next time any European descended person says Jews are victims of "anti-Semitism" needs to do some real homework on Mendelian genetics because Zionists are now committing another blatant Fraud by telling people that European Ashkenazim Jews are "Semites" when that is an outright lie being peddled to justify the European Jewish colonization of Palestine to turn it into a European Jewish state.

In other words, European Jews are not really Jews but Jewish convert descendants and have as much "right of return" to Palestine as would a Roman citizen going to England and claiming England as the "homeland of Romans". Recessive genes do not make the identity of a person so there is no such thing as a Semitic Ashkenazi person. We are Europeans as over 99% of our genes inform those who know basic genetic distribution. Intensely inbreed Europeans because of abiding by Judaism's racist ideology of no intermarriage with Gentiles which accounts for the diseases specific to Ashkenazim, but still Europeans. With ZERO right to claims of Palestine in the Middle East.

  78. This anti-Zionist information I will post as long as you keep promoting Zionist racist Israeli killers, Rose.

These awful people, the IDF, attacked my friends at the Tent of Nations and bulldozed down 1500 olive and fruit trees from their eco-village school of living community. These awful people won't let my other Palestinian friends see their relatives because of being from the West Bank, splitting up Palestinian families so that Israeli European Jews can have their land. We need to stop Israel fascism NOW! because it is the ROOT PROBLEM in the whole Middle East that is creating the violent Muslim backlash. Demand an end to U.S. support of racist settlement building and crimes against humanity committed by IDF using our American tax dollars to arm and fund their dirty work.

  79. Ah go on, Steve, don't hold back your feelings now..

Sorry, but really, I don't like my friends having their land and lives become part of that very same ideology whose victims I have been trying to help for the past 19 years, Native Americans. Zionism' goal, Eretz Yisrael, is the Jewish form of the European-American "Manifest Destiny" and too close to "Third Reich" European racist ideology for anyone to tolerate in our times. They all come down race war and we don't need that in the 21st century.

  80. "The only fair thing is for everyone to pay the same percentage"

There is nothing fair about that Rose. Here is one example. Some people have so much money they don't have to work anymore. Others have to labor to survive. Is it "fair" to tax them at the same rate?

Guess it depends on one's perspective and one's perspective will be determined on their side of the aisle.

But you and I know this.

The "fairest" tax we had in recent history was under (Republican) President Eisenhower. The Goldwater wing of the Republican Party has hollowed that out. Now continued talk of "fairness" in the form of a flat tax is not in touch with reality, simply.

But it does sound right and fair. Which, again, is why the far right can repeat it over and over and why, when they do, 15% believe it.

And often 15% is all one needs to win elections.

  81. It makes perfect sense that Rose and Stephen Lewis are buddy buddy

    ReplyDelete
  82. What's not fair, Jon, is for people who pay nothing to vote for and approve, and cheer for making other people pay more taxes, when they suffer no consequences themselves.

C'mon, Lib or not, you can see that.

And while we're talking taxes - look at SoHum, where you can have a six-figure income and pay NO INCOME TAXES, but now want taxes raised to pay for more services.

See, the crime of growing dope is only one of the laws those people are breaking - why is that ok with you? (and yours)

    ReplyDelete
  83. And to bring this back to the topic of the DA's race. I think, because we agree more than disagree that we are a nation (and county) of laws is why DA Elect Flemming was able to garner 60% of the vote in a 4 way race.

  84. Rose: This is sick and twisted: This is what you want to link to your blog? Do you even know or worse, even care what you're posting links to to serve the conservative ethically challenged minds that keep our societies incapable of sharing, the root cause of everything that goes wrong between nations and peoples.

  85. Stephen, until the Palestinians lay down their arms, and swear off bombs, murder, and strapping homicidal explosive-laden vests on their teenagers, Israel has to do what it has to to survive, if that's what you're referring to... as soon as the Palestinians STOP, there will be peace for a thousand years, Maybe more. It's up to them.

Sorry. I have too many friends over there, and I know what they deal with on a daily basis.

  86. Typical moral myopia, Rose. Get some common sense please! Palestine and Palestinians are very much like Vietnamese in attitude towards foreign invaders and you are very much like the wrong sided American Republican war mongers and supporters of trying to divide Vietnam into two warring halves by arming the side against American businessmen.

Until you realize that foreign invasion is unacceptable in the 20th and 21st centuries you will never understand why Palestinians will never roll over and die to let European and American Jews steal their country. Wake up! Look at the map of Palestine from 1947 to no and understand why Palestinians will war to keep Israelis from taking ALL of Palestine from Palestinians. Please stop posting links to horrendously offensive war pictures of provided by gloating Jewish fascist Israelis. There are Palestinians in our community who don't need to see their brethren treated like dog shit by foreign invaders.
