  1. Wow what an article! Where is Paul Harvey when you need him?

  2. Richard Salzman · Arcata, California
Well deserved recognition. Boy did he inherit a mess, but considering that, he'd done a great job so far.

Comment on the Times Standard article - talk about a bad endorsement. I wonder if Nielsen has any idea.

  3. Considering who Nielsen hangs out with, I would say yes. Check out Glass's website when he was running for council and you will see him lurking in the background on the family photo. The picture of him at Brandenburg's house with Neely is also a kodak moment. No doubt that this media blitz involving Thad is orchestrated by the Salzman group.

  4. A total puff piece. Garr is lobbying for the chief's job at HSUPD when Dewey retires.

  5. Supposedly he pulled his name from that job and also put out a memo or e-mail at EPD that he was nevwer considering the HSU job.

  6. Yeah, but then he went for the Lodi job last week.

  7. IT sure seems like he wants out of Eureka. How many places has Garr applied to in the past 2 years ? LOTS, but no agency seems to want him. Imagine that?

  8. Yep but Salzman And Thaddeus like him. You forgot that he also applied and was rejected in Shasta County.

  9. He applied at San Leandro 'bout 6 months ago. The powers that be went hahahaha, no way.

  10. If he's doing such and great job and he likes it so much why does he want to leave?
