◼ The $78,000 engagement ring! Eureka!
Just a case of plumb luck. It took a plumber to retrieve a woman's 7-carat diamond ring after city workers failed in efforts to flush the gem out of the pipes of a restaurant toilet...
What I want to know is, who has the ring?
ReplyDeleteAsset forfeiture.
Yep - find the nice lady, seize the ring and sell it to reimburse the government for the costs of catching these greedy criminals. I am all for it. Crime shouldn't pay the criminals or their complicit girlfriends.
ReplyDeleteI suspect the nice lady will tell you it fell down another toilet.
ReplyDeleteOr, she may have a replacement CZ put in its place.
