It's a good thing she had those plastic bags

Fatu Kekula, 22, was just a nursing student, and was left with no choice -- she became a one-woman Ebola hospital as she treated her sick family. - Laura Ingraham

  1. There's far more to it than just the bags, of course - she also had saline solutions, and knew how to administer them. Ebola patients get dehydrated.

  2. Saline solution is simple to make. 0.9 parts salt (table salt), 99.1 parts water. But she was able to get it from a local clinic, even though they would not take her family members in for care.
