The smearing of possible Paul opponents begins

where else but the glorious Humboldt Herald....
Wal-Mart wins after local attorney blows deadline

Maneuvering to neutralize the one person who seems to be in line to run against Gallegos.

  1. Whoever decides to run better have really thick skin. What strikes me is that the character assassination begins before anyone has even announced.

  2. Hey, just from what little I've heard of this guy on Heraldo's blog, he sounds a lot like Gallegos.

  3. Looks like a progressive split in the making ala Clendennnen-Fennell. Who's on first? Nichols hates Hagen but Cobb's behind him and rumors say Hagen signed on with trickyDick.

  4. If Cobb's for him, I'm against him. Easy choice there.

Just watch, Heralda-Belknap's next anti-lawyer attacks will be against Peter Martin and Jeanne Tunnison. Anyone even possibly willing to stand up to the DUHC/Loco Solutions machine will be crushed!

  5. Interesting position to ponder. I'd also say that if Nichols is against him,I'm for him. Now if Cobb would only eat lots of dioxin tainted Humboldt Bay crab. oops! I forgot that's just another load for crap both Nichols and Cobb push on the obamatons.

  9. Cobb might have pulled a head fake by putting Paul Hagen on his miserable KHSU propaganda show to make it look all buddy-buddy, but is still a Gags booster through and through. We know Heraldo has never publicly disagreed with Cobb about a single solitary thing ever.

Although it was sad to see Eric Heimstadt kick the bucket, that does mean one of Gallegos' main props is out from under him in terms of campaigning support and in terms of funding.

  10. Heraldo has never appeared on Cobb's radio show or on Rose's blog. One must come to the Humboldt Herald, er, 'The Mountain', I suppose.
