In case you can't read it, it is a ficticious business name statement from the Ferndale Enterprise. Mitch Trachtenberg and Richard Salzman going into the voting santification business.

  1. Saw that in the Enterprise.

  2. The Ferndale Enterprise? Because it is cheapest or least likely to get noticed? Well, he couldn't put it in the Journal now, could he?

I thought Salzman was at Carlson Wireless. Who is Tractenberg?

  3. place to place it was up in WillowCreek gawds wish Richard would ask me before he did this stuff. No one sees anything posted in WillowCreek paper and its legal.

It's like the trip with the e-mails, guy just needs to check with the right people before he does these things. He'll never listen. Silly boy! He hasn't lived here long enough to know his way around the papers I guess. As still has too much of an ego to ask if he really wanted it to stay 'low key.'

Gawd help us from the "out to lunch bunch" only goes to show you how bad the oppistion is when they can't beat someone like this!

  4. Heh. He never sleeps.

How do you beat someone who is willing to lie and cheat?

I guess you have to be a better liar and a better cheater.

  5. Mission Statement
Our goal is to ensure the highest possible confidence in the results of elections, by enabling accurate, timely, transparent, and verifiable vote counts.

And visions of ACORN danced in his head.

Are we REALLY going to TRUST - are we really going to be BLIND on this?

  6. For sure they tried to slip that one through without being noticed.

WTF is up with this? It must be some sleazy plan or something?

  7. This thing is a total trip.

I will say, though, that the whole point of Trachtenberg and the Humboldt Transparency Project is that the ballots are put up on the Web for all to see, and anyone can do their own recount. Really -- it's not very tough.

So if you're imagining Richard horning his way in to steal elections, you're probably better off imagining again. I'd think he just sees a business opportunity in a field he knows something about.

  8. I think you're right Hank

He just never could keep a regular job.

  9. With Richard, nothing is what you think it is, and I'm sure this will earn me another nasty little ditty.

The thing is, Hank, you're honest. You cannot imagine, nor can I, what we will find down the road when it comes to whatever it is he is up to. You just don't think that way. You trust. And it - appears. APPEARS to be just so.

    ReplyDelete
  10. when you are bent everything you do is out of balance. Hank, don't try to use your sence of reality when trying to play in the bizzaro world of RS.

  12. More 2% self-selected Minority Masters at work is what I see. The 2% Minority Masters that want to see the Minority Master's political agenda inflicted on Humboldt County. Check the religious ethnic affiliation of our beloved activists like Richard Salzman, always eager to network with fellow 2% Minority Masters to make sure the Gentile political structure is 2% Minority Master controlled one way or another while destroying the local economy to do this, but who cares about Gentiles anyway when they can be suckered in so many ways beneficial to the career opportunities of the 2%'Minority Masters like Mr. Hurwitz and his Maxxam crew that gutted Palco while 2% Minority Masters like Cherney and Miller got their piece of the Gentile cake to eat as well.

Over in the Middle East, more 2% Minority Masters are at work inflicting the 2% Minority Master agenda on Gentile Palestinians and destroying that area in the process. It's a pattern that needs to be seen for what it is. 2% Minority Masters politically at war with the 98% majority wherever they go.

  13. Several months ago, Carolyn Crnich attended an HCDCC meeting and explained this system to us. Like Hank the ballots are scanned and posted on the website, so everyone has access. Perhaps, Carolyn also attended the HCRCC?

  14. Go fuck yourself, Stephen Lewis.

  15. "2% Minority Masters" WTF?

I used to think Stephen was a off beat critic of Zionism. Now I can see he is a Jew hater.

  20. The reason a billion Muslims around the world believe America and Europe's foreign policies re Israel are controlled by Zionist Jews and Israelis can be easily understood when one counts the percentage of Jewish people in charge of so many major American social system functions. 75% of the U.S. Federal Reserve System banks are owned or controlled by Jewish people. 75% while Jews constitute 2% of America's population. Obama just name another 75% Jewish control for his watchdog Securities Exchange Commission, 2 out 3 commissioners, while other Jews are busy running America's economic system into the ground, ala Madoff and the prior top guns in the junk bond markets, one of whom destroyed Pacific Lumber Company. Most all of Bush's Neocon advisors selling the Iraqi war to America are Jewish. This is why the Protocols of the Elders of Zion never stops popping up in anti-Jewish circles as the hidden Jewish agenda and rationale for anti-Jewish sentiments as national defense--Jewish people seen as a 5th Column working for a foreign nation, Israel, instead of the nations they live in.

I am of Jewish ancestry and am very glad I was not raised in the Jewish cult which I have studied for many years and conclude is a racist and paranoid religious cult no different from Scientology or other whacked out paranoid religions except Judaism is only very old and gets a pass from Pauline Christians. But standing alone in Israel, Judaism can be seen for the paranoid racist religion it really is and that is why I will protest the 2% Jewish minority's control over American politics, economy and media which one can see here with our local gang of anti-community Jewish activists who will lie and cheat their way into positions of political power in Humboldt County. Richard is a prime example of this propensity to want to destroy the social systems that support Gentile society, the 98% majority. Ken Miller, Darryl Cherney, these are your Jewish activists in action manipulating people wherever they go in order to rise in political power. Salzman's aims to bring Jewish anti-community activism into our County's voting system and I am glad Rose is bringing Salzman's current political manipulation project to our attention. I will continue to point to the root cause of Jewish anti-community activism which is the belief that Jews are superior to Gentiles and can be herded around like cattle by Jewish cowboys.

  21. My concern is more from an ethical standpoint, that Mitch is following in the Cobb/DUHC cult's footsteps and making money off of what the rest of us do for free. Nobody on the Election Advisory Committee is getting paid to be there, so why should Trachtenberg get to profit off of our freely donated brain power? Much less Salzman, who's never even been to an EAC meeting?

    ReplyDelete
  22. But what are Salzman's positions concerning Jewish control of the Federal Reserve? Does he support Israel's annexation of Palestinian land and water. Does he support genocide? Or does Stephen Lewis make baseless accusations while under the influence of mind altering drugs?

    ReplyDelete
  23. Try truth under the influence of reality: Stephen confronting Richard in front of the old Eureka Co-op where Richard accuses Stephen when asked to sign his AEB petition which I refuse, "Aren't you Stephen that anti-Zionist?" and looks like he wants to throw a punch my way. I respond in his face "You going to punch me, Richard?" and he sits back down at his table and I move on..

Very much in the Cobb model of taking profits from the activist work done by volunteers.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Well Mitch did personally produce the software and much of the brainpower behind it.Why should he get to profit?Free enterprise I guess.

    ReplyDelete
  29. And you really should just voice your concern at the next EAC meeting.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Clean up on Isle 2. There's a puddle of slobber from Mark Konkler kissing up to the latest fake-prog profiteering scheme.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Well add Mitch to your list of those to target then.Have fun.Mitch created something on his, donated his findings to the county for nothing, should he not have the right to do what he wants with it?Like I said, take your complaint to the rest of the EAC and Carolyn Crnich and see if you get a response more to your liking.Opining about it here probably won't get you too far.

    ReplyDelete
  32. You think Mitch is, or Mitch thinks he is, in control then?

    ReplyDelete
  33. Well it obviously has the effect of making you squirm to have to read a contrary opinion, Konkler. That enough makes it worth my while to "opine" about a scam worthy of DUHC.

    ReplyDelete
  34. What is the scam?Mitch designed the software that the Transparency Project ran on,or if you don't that's the case, then please prove me to be incorrect.

Humboldt County Transparency Project now online
    Thadeus Greenson/The Times-Standard
    Posted: 07/18/2008 01:15:55 AM PDT

Anyone believing shenanigans were afoot in June's primary election in Humboldt County can now get online and check for themselves.

The Humboldt Transparency Project is now up and running, albeit in an infant form, allowing anyone with Internet access the chance to log on and recount each and every ballot cast in the June election in any way they see fit.

The basic idea of the first-of-its-kind transparency project is fairly simple: every ballot cast in an election is passed through an optical scanner after being officially counted and the images are then placed on the Internet and available for download. Software, created by volunteer Mitch Trachtenberg, then allows viewers to sort the ballots by precinct or race to conduct recounts at their pleasure.

”It's my hope that instead of one audit (which the county is legally obligated to perform), maybe I'll get 800 audits,” County Registrar of Voters Carolyn Crnich said.

The project is, however, in its infancy. For June's election, only the ballot images are available online and not the sorting software. So, interested parties can visit hum.dreamhosters.com/etp to see the ballots, but they will have to manually sort them.

”The thing that this does is proves it can be done,” Trachtenberg said. “This can be duplicated by any elections department in the country.”

The hope is that the elections department will be able to work out some kinks in order to launch the

project in a more complete form for the November election. Until then, those interested can check out June's ballots online or call the elections office and ask for DVDs containing all the ballot images. More information on the project itself is also available at www.democracycounts.blogspot.com.

With all the skepticism out there regarding election vote counting technology, Trachtenberg said the project may become a vital tool to make sure elections are both accurate and transparent.

”What this does is it actually uses technology to make elections more secure, not less secure,” Trachtenberg said.

To get more information on the Humboldt Transparency Project, visit www.democracycounts.blogspot.com. To see images of every ballot cast in Humboldt County in the June election, visit hum.dreamhosters.com/etp

  36. I think you are missing the point in your defensiveness, Mark. No one is criticizing Trachtenberg, exactly. Questioning his judgement for getting involved in a business relationship with Richard Salzman, yes.

Trachtenberg may be a straight shooter. That would make you right.

BUT, you don't know what is coming down the pike, what the hidden agenda might be.

C'mon, you haven't been asleep at the wheel. You're aware.

All the glowing promises and propaganda about transparency in the world won't hold up with Richard involved.

    ReplyDelete
  37. And the HTP as a concept is the intellectual property of the entire Election Advisory Committee, which is supposedly dedicate to OPEN SOURCE, NOT-FOR-PROFIT software counting votes.

Trachtenberg developed software for the EAC's transparency project for the public purpose of verifying election results under the auspices of Crnich, an elected official, and her advisory committee.

To take the fruits of this joint effort and peddle them on the open market as personal intellectual property is deceitful. The entire EAC chipped in to make the HTP happen, and they don't want to profit off of it, they want to freely expand the idea and SHARE these techniques with other election agencies, again, for a PUBLIC GOOD.

These Cobb sympathizers have a hard time differentiating between privatized profit and the sort of activist work the rest of us donate freely.

  38. Just figured I'd mention that the system's been up for a while at this address:

    http://humetp.mitchtrachtenberg.com

and the latest results are summarized here:

    http://democracycounts.blogspot.com

Nobody's interested, btw. But I'm grateful to all of you who spoke up on behalf of all those poor folks I tried to rip off. Without you, our country wouldn't be what it is today.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Thanks, Mitch.

    People should appreciate it.

  40. I don't want killer ape IDF supporting Zionists having their hands any where near American voting. My God, don't people pay any attention to Richard's track record of lying and cheating specifically to influence voting? And he's partners with another Zionist and we see what these Zionists are feeding overseas when they have political power and weaponry? Do not give Zionists any more political power than they already have. In America..no where else in the civilized world.

  41. When I see rants from Stephen & Rose, I think of a dueling banjos riff

    ReplyDelete
  42. I wonder if the anon troll would say all those who called for resisting the fascists Before WW II were "ranting" about fascism at the doorstep of Europe.

    ReplyDelete
  43. I agree with Rose on this Mitch! Thanks. And I didn't know about your site specifically, even after reading your NCJ months ago. It was probably in there, but I wasn't at a computer when I read that so failed to bookmark a remarkable blog and efforts.

Cheers to you and other volunteers who made that simple and elegant check on our government possible.

If it's something that can be maintained, it use won't be with 100% of races, but when that inevitable contested election happens, it will be invaluable to have the results for all to see and examine.
