Dollison Town Hall in Garberville Apr 7

District Attorney Candidate, Allan L. Dollison will be holding a Meet the Candidate event on Monday, April 7, 2014 from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm at the Garberville Veteran’s Hall located at 483 Conger Street in Garberville.

Allan served in the District Attorney’s office for almost 6 ½ years where he prosecuted serious and violent felony cases, like People v. Brian Fiore, a home invasion marijuana robbery that ended in murder and attempted murder convictions. The victims had 14 pounds of Marijuana stolen from them at gun point, by Mr. Fiore and his Co-Conspirator.

Allan continues to serve in the Army Reserve as a Lieutenant Colonel, and faithfully served his country in Afghanistan and Iraq, helping to rebuild damaged infrastructure, and reforming the justice system in Iraq. He is a recipient of the Bronze Star and the Combat Action Badge.

If elected, Allan will fight for additional resources, obtain grants that focus on violent crime, and bring organizational skill and management to a DA’s office that sorely needs it.

This event will be a great opportunity to Meet with Allan, find out more about him, listen to his priorities, and talk with him about your concerns for how the DA’s office should be run.

  1. Mr. Dollison has publically stated he does not believe the 2nd Amendment to the U.S. Constitution permits private persons to own or possess guns. When Dollison ran for State Senate from District 1, be posted online and told the league of woman voters, I quote:" The 2nd Amendment was only meant to apply to well regulated militias." Mr. Dollison now wants to be the District Attorney, next he will want all our guns too. Be careful, and do your research. He has been disciplined by the California State Bar Association for moral turpitude offenses. Check their web site.

  2. Any claim that Dollison is some poor post war casualty deserving of our sympathy and forgiveness is simply not justified. First, Dollison is an administrative officer in the civil affairs activities, not a “front line” point of the spear operational combat soldier. His bronze star is NOT for combat action as he does not have the combat designation “V” for an award requiring combat.
Fourth, all of his State Bar misconduct was before either the Iraq or Afghanistan conflicts.

The invasion of Iraq started in March 2003 by an invasion force led by the United States.

The invasion of Afghanistan in October 2001 an invasion force led by the United States and the
    United Kingdom.

Dollison’s mischaracterization of his military exploits seeks to draw in the veteran vote. He does not fool any of us who really served in “combat” during our tours, and were the victims of “officers” like Dollison who pander and exaggerate his Army “reserve” activities as if he was a “real” soldier. Dollison is an embarrassment to all who really served and sacrificed. The type of officer who dies of wounds during a fire fight, in his back.
