So - ask yourself - does that man care if the DA's Office can function? That it's running below half staff? That the people are overburdened, and have been for years as he's helped cover up the steady decline? Helped craft talking points like 'weaning ourselves from the grants"?
Obviously, the reporter doesn't care, either. It's all about the SHOW, baby.
It's kind of funny that this happy puff piece comes out right before the DA sent one of his earnest acolytes down to court to dismiss the Laird case, especially when the TS says "They never informed the victim" and the deputy apparently did not say "oops, my bad, yeah we are required by law to do that, should have done that better go do that let's hold up a second" but rather proceeds with the dismissal. Of course, the judge should have required that, too, but hey, it's just Eureka, Jake.
