Why isn't the Minor Theater playing Atlas Shrugged?

Are they not into alt films anymore? Or is it only a certain kind of alt film that is alt approved?

Minor Movies : Now Showing : Showtimes

  1. Maybe their bias is against BAD alt movies. Really, really, bad ones.

  2. I hope that the Minor plays it as well.I liked the book, just wish that Rand didn't ditch many of her ideals expressed in her novels in her personal life.

  3. Ayn rand was a brilliant philosopher and writer. The reason the minor won't show her film is because Arcata in general is a socialist cesspool of people so far removed from reality its a wonder they can tie their own shoes.

  4. Ayn Rand used the (as you god called it) socialist cesspool of Social Security and Medicare because she said books couldn't pay enough to take care of here health in later life. Look it up.

The movie isn't playing because the star was declared a fraud. She didn't walk the walk.

  5. Sorry God, the Minor might have other reasons for not playing it. That is just my reason they shouldn't play it.

  6. The "socialist cesspool of Social Security and Medicare"? Is that an admission?

  7. The Minor was purchased a few years ago. It is no longer a venue for smaller films. I greatly miss the old Arcata Minor that used to show interesting documentaries all the time. "Atlas Shrugged" has received terrible reviews. It is only the first third of the novel, and I doubt the next two films will ever be made.

  8. I suspect that the Coming Attractions corporation is motivated by profit in the form of box office receipts when selecting films to show in its chain of theaters. So, oddly enough, Atlas Shrugged may be a victim of its own philosophy.

  9. Greetings everyone!
I am asking you to ignore the impostors of Nicholas Bravo and to tune in to The Nick Bravo Show exposing corruption in Humboldt County and beyond. I am also working on future episodes of Ayn Rand specifically the book The Virtue of Selfishness.
Feel free to download them from the internet archive of accesshumboldt.net

  10. Actually it doesn't much matter. Anyone who has read the book, got the message. I personally don't spend money in the city of Arcata, so I would not go there anyway.

It's amazing to me that you are as old as you are Tom and don't fucking get it. Oh ya your a product of that system.
