  1. Do you have a link to the Time Standard's yes endorsement on Prop 8? I couldn't find it.

    Thanks

  2. They recommend a NO vote - in today's hard copy

It's included in the 2nd District link above - I'll make a note in the post.

  3. Actually - they included all the Propositions - no need to amend the post, it's all there.

  4. Wait, you said that the T-S recommends a no vote, but your post states that they endorsed a yes on 8 vote. Am I reading your post wrong?

  5. WhaT? Oh crap! the way that thing is worded it is SO confusing - you are right they are FOR the gay marriage, and recommend a NO vote and I will FIX THAT. My apologies.

  6. I've wondered just how many people might get confused with Prop 8 and vote the opposite of what they intended?

Kinda hard to believe people would get it wrong, though, with all the publicity it's gotten.

  7. The Rodoni endorsement by the TS today was a pleasant surprise.

I was equally surprised by their endorsement of Atkins for Eureka city council, but mostly for their circular reasoning and failure to recognize Polly's accomplishments on the Council. For sure, Linda did a great job on the KEET debate, but citing her experience working at CalTrans as giving her insight into how government operates is loopy.
