It usually does, doesn't it? Plumley seems more fiscally conservative. Lovelace is generally more to the left.

Some liberals and progressives like to complain about cops, but at the end of the day, they're for increasing revenue and they're less likely to try to cut costs by reducing wages and benefits or contracting out services.

Conservatives, on the other hand, will cheer for the cops, but they hate paying the bills that come with the services.

The Sheriffs union is looking out for its members. They probably don't care about Ken Miller or the politics of our local culture wars. They're thinking about the bottom line.

Even if you don't like their choice, you have to admire that.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-25625654.post-86707334518181501032008-05-28T13:25:00.000-07:002008-05-28T13:25:00.000-07:00Well they probably had no clue that the Lovelace's...Well they probably had no clue that the Lovelace's best buddy is Ken Miller (aka Dr. Pot.)

Christ, you would have thought they might have inquired before they endorsed this guy who has aligned himself with the pot doctor.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-25625654.post-28184770496634757372008-05-28T11:54:00.000-07:002008-05-28T11:54:00.000-07:00Deputy Sheriffs endorse LovelaceSo... what's up wi...Deputy Sheriffs endorse Lovelace

So... what's up with that? It should either be legal/decriminalized, or it shouldn't. Stop the pretense.Rosehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14023852057418281003noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-25625654.post-153880478890940552008-05-28T09:24:00.000-07:002008-05-28T09:24:00.000-07:00mresquan said...
